Freebirthing - a great idea or courting disaster?

Freebirthing, delivering your child at home without any healthcare professional present, even a midwife, is becoming more popular in some circles. Amish groups rally against state closure of midwife’s practice

The Amish aren’t known for their protests or political maneuverings. They usually stay out of the limelight and don’t like to be photographed - but here is one instance where their beliefs are making them stand up for what they think is right.
