Slow Down, I’m Going Too Fast….

I just realized that I was trying to get rid of some serious merch in a seriously short amount of time. Since I have a nice handful of vitties to give away, I have decided to extend the Fertility Blend giveaway comment deadline to Thursday, June 26th - with a winner announced each Friday.

In other news, I am heading to the hospital in just a few minutes for the much anticipated hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy and goodness knows what else they’ll decide to stick in there while I’m under.

The good news: 1.) I’ll be going under. 2.) my insurance has deemed the procedure medically necessary, so chances of it being covered are slightly higher than they had been. I am guarding that authorization letter like it’s gold.

The goal: To take a snapshot (literally) of my uterus at the time when an embryo would be implanting to see if any adjustments are necessary/can be made to increase our odds of a successful pregnancy. Up until today, I’ve followed a routine of estrace, prometrium and PIO shots as if we were anticipating a transfer. The only difference (which is probably a big one) has been my state of mind. Frequency of acupuncture has been less. Meditation and visualization - less. Exercising - less. I simply can’t sustain the level of effort necessary knowing that I will play hostess to scopes and cameras, not our little frozen guys.

So, with the next few days off work, I may be posting like a fiend, I may not be. I really don’t know what to expect. But I so appreciate you, dear readers, who have shared your own experiences with me. They really had helped me prepare as best I can.
