Where I Wish I Were Today
Today is the RESOLVE Advocacy Day in Washington DC. At least from my window, the sun is shining and it looks to be a gorgeous day. I bet there are even some cherry blossoms hanging on, waiting to be seen.
I had been secretly harboring a hope to sneak down to DC today (it is less than a 2 hour drive from me). But as the week progressed, my work calendar filled and looking at my scheduled today (which is filled with calls and meetings), it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
Sigh.
If you are in DC right now, meeting with your Congressfolks and educating them about fertility issues and reproductive rights, I applaud you! And I am so there in spirit. If you are nearby and had been contemplating the trip, can you think of a better way to spend a gorgeous day than surrounded by cool women at the nation’s Capital?
