I’m sure by now you’ve all seen or heard about Jennifer Lopez’s article in People magazine where she plainly denies using anything beyond good ole fashioned will power and desire to pop out her twins even though there have been rumours, reports, previous articles, photos even, pointing to other conclusions.
Now, it’s one thing to not […]

This is the best email you could ever send someone who has recently experienced a miscarriage, pregnancy loss, or simply a rotten test result. This made me laugh, smile, cry, and most importantly, know that this friend meant every single word. It is simple, nonjudgmental, and unconditionally loving - exactly what one grieving needs.
I hope […]

He was born biologically female, had sex reassignment surgery, and is now legally male. When his wife, Nancy, was unable to have children, Thomas, who still has female […]

Or Easter. Or whatever you’re into. Eostre is thought to be the name of an Anglo-Saxon goddess whose feast day was Christianized to Easter:
Eostre represents the re-birth of life and nature after the harsh weather of the winter months. The egg, which may be a symbol of Eostre, is believed to represent that very re-birth.
She […]

Today marks 20 years cancer free for me.
This means I am part of an ever-growing group of young adult survivors of childhood cancers. And finally, finally! thanks to increased odds of remission and survival rates, we are growing large enough in numbers that lasting effects of chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments can be studied and […]

THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO ARE OBSESSED WITH BEING PREGNANT AND IT IS NOT HEALTHY TO BE OBSESSED WITH ANYTHING. Agreed.
I have friend’s who lost EVERYTHING because SHE wanted to be pregnant so bad….a homeless shelter is no place to raise a child and that’s almost where they were. I’m sorry to hear about your friend, […]

I debated for a while about whether or not to accept this comment on my blog or to let it linger in the “in moderation” queue. I talked about it with Michael and his first thought was, “hey, it’s just like yours and Ang’s Sticks and Stones videos only you didn’t make it up!”
He’s right. […]
